In accordance with the amendments of Copyright Law, dated on 2001, 3 March using, copying and selling pirated software shall be punished with

• a fine ; 24-121 thousand YTL for each absent license
• jail sentence; from 2 years to 6 years , this can not be converted into fine
• disqualification from profession up to 3 years
• impounding the computer with pirated software
